Use of sage bundles/smudge: Light a fire at one end, blow out when you see a flame and spread the sage bundle smoke around what you want to clean. Alternatively, wave around the smoke using a feather or with your hand. Extinguish your White Sage against a fireproof object, such as this bowl, leave the bundle in the bowl and make sure that it is really extinguished.
